Hilton Head Island Airport HHH is located on Hilton Head Island. Two Airlines serve the Airport: U.S. Airways Express (to Charlotte) and Delta Connection (to Atlanta) with many daily departures, offering connections throughout the country and the world. Hilton Head Airport is centrally located mid-island.

The passenger terminal at Hilton Head Island Airport is a full-service terminal offering amenities & services comparable to a larger airport; its ticket counters open at 4:30 am and close with the last flight in. Passengers are requested to arrive one hour prior to scheduled departure. The ticket counter closes for check-in half an hour prior to departure.

To get to the Airport: From the mainland or north end of the island, take 278E (William Hilton Parkway Business) to Beach City Road. Turn left. The airport entrance is 1 mile down Beach City Road on the right.

From the south end of the island, take 278W (William Hilton Parkway) to Mathews Drive. Turn right. Follow Mathews Drive until it dead-ends into Beach City Road at a stop sign. Turn right onto Beach City Road. The airport entrance is 1/2 mile down on the right.

Savannah Hilton Head International Airport SAV is located approximately 20 minutes from Savannah’s historic district and 45 minutes/40 miles from Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, and can easily be reached via I-95 (Exit 104 to Airways Avenue) or I-16 East (Exit 157 to I-95 N).

The Airport serves both the greater Savannah area and Hilton Head Island. With two runways, and an estimated 1.5 million passengers a year, Savannah Hilton Head International Airport is currently served by six major airlines which primarily operate regional jets, offering nonstop flights to major US cities, with connections around the world. Delta Connection offers multiple daily flights to Atlanta and some daily flights to New York LAG and Detroit Metropolitan.

The two-level passenger terminal at Savannah Airport is a small yet modern facility with a spacious main hall. On the upper level of the terminal are the airline ticket counters, ATM machines, the Savannah Square hosts food, drink and retail.
